libdmtx is open source software for reading and writing DataMatrix barcodes on Linux, Unix, and even Windows (if you feel adventurous). At its core libdmtx is a shared library, allowing any C program to use its capabilities without restrictions or overhead. The package also includes Python bindings and command line utilities, exposing powerful functionality to many additional programmers and power users. libdmtx is distributed under the LGPL and can be used freely under these terms.Documentation
